The Karner Blue Butterfly

Updated: Dec 4, 2021

By regenerating the grassland on her family's farm, Siobhan saw an explosion in bird life and other wildlife on the farm and was rewarded by a visit from several very elusive and rare Karna blue butterflies.

From herding 10 cows on a rented farm to owning a 100 cow organic dairy in New York, SIOBHAN GRIFFIN, followed nature’s template leading her into regenerative and holistic farm management in New Zealand. Today, Siobhan shares which grazing management techniques worked best on farm to grow delicious food, healthy livestock, and build soil organic matter at the rate of one half percent per year over ten years.
