Restoring Swedish Savanna

It was a privilege and a super experience to be invited in August as keynote speaker at the regenerative farming conference Betesutbytet! The hosts, Mia and Tomas Torsein, are restoring amazing diversity to their land using holistically managed livestock. We had an interactive workshop on day two where I shared ideas on how to apply the holistic grazing plan to humid temperate or irrigated environments where most dairy farms reside. Legendary regenerative farming educator Allan Williams and his chill son Chris joined the conference for day three and four. Like the rest of Europe, the US, and Canada, holistically managed livestock need to be returned to the Swedish landscape to promote the ecosystem restoration results shown in the video.
